King Tut 3 January 2008

Despite the frosty air out there, I’m suddenly warm all over. Thanks, Universe & Tut.com, as I couldn’t have said it better myself:

So Don’t worry about your “negative” thoughts, Jennifer. They’re par for the course in the jungles of time and space. Change them when you can, but when they overrun you, let them run. Because no matter how persistent they are, you can always spend just 5 minutes a day, in a quiet place, doing your best to imagine your dreams as if they’ve already come true; seeing yourself happy, laughing, smiling from ear to ear. This will be enough, it’s always enough, even if while you’re imagining, the negative thoughts creep in. After 5 minutes, leave it alone.

You’re in time and space for one reason: to thrive. There’s no 50/50 about it.

You are OF the Creator, BY the Creator, and now a Creator yourself, alive on a stage YOU designed for your own adventures. You were not an afterthought and you didn’t design it to just eek by. All of the elements are beholden to you; you summoned them, you dreamed them into place, and now they conspire endlessly in your favor. “On a dime” your life can improve for the better with the slightest effort on your part, no matter how insurmountable the odds, nor how futile your thoughts and deeds may seem. You are “the prodigal child.” In a heartbeat you’re welcomed back into the fold. In an instant you can be carried along by life’s current once you stop struggling against it. And for all of these reasons, and more, it’s therefore as if your positive thoughts are 10,000 times more powerful than your negative thoughts. 10,000 times more in alignment with the magnificent tidal wave of energy that you are. 10,000 times more likely to become the things you want than the things you don’t want, when you know these truths and you act on them.

Yeah, coolness.

The Universe

A wonderful way to kick off the day, eh?

Totally Tryptophany 23 November 2007

Overlooking much of Manhattan, I enjoyed an incredible, oh-so-edible Thanksgiving in a room with two views. Betsy & I soaked up the sweet sensation of magnificent men inside Bruce & Ed’s swanky new pad. I’m getting used to this having open, intimate experiences with the opposite sex thing & can’t get enough of it. A perfect mix of metaphysical musings & pop culture convos, the entire day kept this Pixie peaceful, pleased & prepared to be prosperous.

Between courses, I read others’ Angel cards, we listened to the poignant poem, Forever No More, by Mary J. Blige, designed our dream men & homes & read from Marianne Williamson’s book Illuminata. Encouraging each other to dream bigger than big was free & easy in this awake atmosphere.

So thanks to Bruce & Ed for being the hosts with the most & for sharing your wonderful friends, Dennis, Hamilton & Danny, with us. Betsy & I salute you for being shining examples of the kind of men we want more of in our lives. & we’re betting our boots they come in the straight sort too.

Taking the A Train home later last night, I read on in Illuminata. This part resonated with where I am on my Pixie path:

“Our environment now threatens us as we have threatened it…acid rain singes the Earth as hatred singes the soul. Only spirit can handle the heat…Only love can handle the heat…Hatred itself is the cancer that threatens the survival of the species. The only antidote is spiritual. The only medicine is love.”

I kicked my own cancer’s ass. Now it’s time to take on the world’s!

Be blessed & grateful, my dears, & let love rule. Right, Lenny?

Seems the subway gods want us to remember to think big, kids. Last Saturday, I saw this one on my way to Coney Island:

& this morning, a quote came from none other than James Dean,

“Dream as if you’ll live forever, live as if you’ll die today.” He outta know, eh?

Enjoy those magical moments but let the big stuff simmer away today!
